Hastelloy B-2 Pipe

Hastelloy B2 pipe is made of a solid solution strengthened nickel-based special alloy featuring excellent corrosion resistance and high temperature strength. Hastelloy B2 material shows excellent corrosion resistance in various temperatures and complex environments, especially in oxidizing environments.

Hastelloy B2 pipe has a chemical composition mainly including nickel, chromium, molybdenum and a small amount of iron, tungsten and other elements. The combination of these elements leads to excellent corrosion resistance and high-temperature strength. Among them, the nickel element provides good corrosion resistance, the chromium element enhances the material's corrosion resistance in an oxidizing environment, and the molybdenum element improves the material's corrosion resistance in a reducing environment. Moreover, the addition of elements such as iron and tungsten further add to the strength and hardness of the material. Hastelloy B2 pipes have good processing properties and can be used for hot processing and cold processing. Hot processing includes casting, hot rolling, heat treatment and other processes, while cold processing includes cold rolling, cold drawing, stamping and other processes.
