A572/S355JR Carbon Steel Plate

A572 steel has four different grades: 42, 50, 60 and 65. Each of these grades differ in their mechanical properties and chemical composition.

A572 is a low-carbon, low-alloy high-strength steel plate produced using electric furnace steelmaking technology. Its main component is scrap iron. Through reasonable composition design and strict process control, A572 steel plate has high purity and excellent performance. Molten steel pouring, as its main manufacturing method, not only gives the steel plate good density and uniformity, but also ensures that the steel plate has superior mechanical properties after cooling. Flat plate and rectangle are its main shape characteristics, which make it easy to undergo further processing. This kind of steel plate is widely used in construction, bridges, heavy machinery and other fields. At the same time, due to its low carbon and low alloy characteristics, it performs well in welding, forming and corrosion resistance.
