Docol HE is a new range of hot-rolled advanced high-strength steels with greatly improved edge ductility for automotive manufacturers facing production technology challenges. It has been widely adopted for having improved edge ductility, local formability, and substantial increases in shear edge quality and hole expansion ratio. Docol 460 high edge ductile steel is produced using a new and tightly controlled method. It is suitable for stamping most geometric shapes and performs well in applications where trimming quality affects forming feasibility.
