Single Reduced Cold-Rolled Tinplate

Single reduced cold-rolled tinplate refers to those products where the steel substrate has been reduced to the desired thickness in a cold-reduction mill and subsequently annealed and temper rolled.

Tin-plated steel plate, commonly known as tinplate is a steel product with a stampable thin steel plate as the base, tin plating on the surface, and multiple protective films. It has the characteristics of corrosion resistance, non-toxic, odorless, glossy surface, light weight, high strength, easy to print, easy to weld and process, and has strong adaptability to ambient temperature. Single cold-reduced tinplate can be supplied with either a bright, silver, stone or matt finish, and the finish required shall be specified at the time of ordering. Single reduced cold-rolled tinplate is generally specified in nominal thicknesses that are multiples of 0,005 mm, from 0,150 mm up to and including 0,600 mm.
